About Us:

Chearsley Village Hall has been a priceless asset for the community it serves since opening in 1951.

The Trustees of the hall have diligently maintained the building over the years and it is still in daily use, however, unfortunately the fabric of the building is near the end of its lifespan, the layout of the hall is poor and the insulation, heating and electrics are inadequate and expensive to run.  Many villagers are frustrated with the small, limited and outdated facilities at the hall.

We need your help so we can rebuild our hall and further increase community wellbeing through enabling access and participation in new services, new activities and social opportunities for all rather than just a few user groups as is currently the case. In particular, the project aims to increase inclusion and social activities for young people and elderly residents in Chearsley and surrounding villages.

Thank you for your support and good luck!

Yours Sincerely,

Mrs Antonia Stratford
