Citizens Advice Buckingham, Winslow & District provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities.
Our team of trained volunteers provide advice on any issue that is having a detrimental effect on the quality of people's daily lives including debt, benefits, housing, employment, family and personal problems, consumer issues, legal proceedings, taxes and duties, utilities health education, community care, immigration and nationality. Our volunteer advisers give people the help and assistance they need to enable them to deal with their problems. Our advice services are for the benefit of the whole community.
During the year ending 30 September 2015 Citizens Advice Buckingham Winslow & District dealt with approximately 9,000 separate enquiries.
A major part of the work of the CAB in Buckingham is providing help and advice to the most vulnerable people, many of whom are disabled. Last year 30.1% of our clients had long-term health problems or disibilities.
We have a specialist debt adviser and a home visiting team so that every member of our community has accces to our full ranges of services.
